Pensioner hit by hospital van dies
AN ELDERLY woman died after she was hit by an NHS van in the grounds of a hospital, police said yesterday.
The 77-year-old, from Penicuik, Midlothian, was struck as the van reversed on an access road between the entrance and the catering department at Edinburgh's Western General Hospital.
