Pedal power helps to raise charity funds
THREE cyclists have raised more than £5,400 for charity by cycling 200 miles through Scotland in two days.
Matt Blackham, 33, from the Capital, and David Hancock, 33, from Glasgow, cycled from Edinburgh to Arbroath on 28 August, stopping overnight before being joined by Mike Perkins, 34, from Gorgie.
They pushed on to Mintlaw in Aberdeenshire, with Mr Perkins continuing to Aberdeen, covering almost 125 miles in one day.
The team raised funds to help sufferers of cystinosis, which can cause kidney problems and organ failure. The condition affects 200 people in the UK, including Mr Blackham's niece.
