Mechanics tick over nicely

GARRY Tweedie’s hat-trick helped Forres Mechanics see off Cove Rangers 5-1 in what is looking like a surprise title bid.

Forres have not won a Highland League title since 1986 – but look the real deal this season.

Tweedie struck after 90 seconds when keeper Stuart Knight’s punt was knocked into his path 12 yards from goal.
