Palin tells of fury on Scottish shoot

MICHAEL Palin said he lost his temper only once while filming – after being made to eat pig dung in Scotland. The actor said he threw "a hissy fit" after eating mud mixed with pigs' droppings while making the 1975 film Monty Python and The Holy Grail in Glen Coe.

Terry Gilliam had told him the mud had been replaced by chocolate.
