Paedophile faces prison
A MAN who raped two young girls is facing a lengthy jail sentence.
The High Court in Glasgow heard that Peter Ireland, 46, began abusing the girls when they were six and three.
He told the girls it was "their secret" and when each girl turned 12 he began raping them on a regular basis.
Ireland, of Edinburgh, admitted raping both girls and using lewd, indecent and libidinous practices between 1990 and 2003.
Judge Lady Dorrian deferred sentence until next month.
