Owner of world’s tallest female dog helps local animal charity

Wendy Peace, who owns Cooper, the Great Dane, will star in Fringe play Listen! The River.

The play, by New York group Rising Solo, tells the story of Turbo the cat and his longing for the sounds of the river after he is forced to leave his rural home for New York City, and deals with issues around animal re-homing and the bonds people have with their pets.

Cooper enjoyed meeting some residents from the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home today, and a proportion of ticket sales will benefit the organisation.
