john Milne (Letters, 24 September) questions Lesley Riddoch’s views on older voters and their motivation. Over the referendum it was possible to see Lesley Riddoch using her column not to commentate but to put forward a very personal agenda.
Is it not time that there was some new blood amongst The Scotsman’s columnists – perhaps people who live in the real world?
Despite claims by letter writers to the contrary, I found the paper fair and balanced in its news but as regards columnists there was a Yes bias.
