RBS says ‘yes’

Royal Bank of Scotland has now spent several months running an advertising campaign (on billboards, at bus stops, in magazines/newspapers and on television) consisting largely of the word “yes” – in huge letters – with only the small print highlighting the reference to mortgage applications.

A conspiracy theorist could have a field day with this. Is it a sneaky “thank you” to Alex Salmond for his uncritical support of RBS and Fred Goodwin when both were taking insane risks with our money? I’m thinking of running a campaign for fish and chips. I’ll call it “Better Together”!
