Last week RBS reported a dozen or so top management got to share in an obscenely large bonus pay-out. There was the usual hand-wringing and teeth gnashing about what can be done to prevent this greed.
How about this suggestion? All the staff who work at RBS through their combined efforts contributed to this windfall, and deserved a share of it. They should therefore get together and tell the greed brigade that every employee should get an equal share in any extra bonus amounts that arise, or they will withdraw their labour.
Then we will see how well these supermen at the top can manage the business on their own. The current UK business top management are a disgrace to themselves and their profession.
