Poetic tax justice

Have your say

How ironic – and fitting – that the rush to register to vote in the referendum may result in the council tax cheats of the past decades being found and pursued for their share of the taxes the rest of us have had to pay in the intervening time.

Maybe they will now realise that with the right to vote and influence matters of great importance to us all, comes the right to pay their share of the burden. What sweet, poetic justice.
