I LIVE in north-east England and like many people in this area visit Scotland regularly
I have always loved Scotland and its people. It upsets me greatly to think that anyone wants to put an international frontier across the Cheviot Hills, and that I have no vote about this. Please don’t vote to separate us. This is for the long term; don’t judge it on the basis of the present politics and politicians. Believe me, we in north-east England often feel remote and alienated from London and the south-east, but we still feel we are an important part of the United Kingdom, as also is Scotland.
