Here we go again, another of the almost daily scare stories by the unionists (your report, 7 May). Does anyone really think that after a Yes vote the National Lottery “problem” cannot be easily resolved?
If Camelot cannot ensure that charities in Scotland are protected then we can have our own lottery. Does Scotland get a fair share at the moment? I doubt it.
How many billions were used to subsidise the London Olympics at the expense of charities? How much lottery money has been allocated to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow next year? I suspect the answer is zero.
If the unionists really want answers to questions rather than just instilling uncertainty, then they should take the advice of the Electoral Commission and talk to the Scottish Government to agree some answers. They are being blatantly two-faced in their attitude.
