Against the Flow

Have your say

We have just returned from the far north and from the train saw the Flow Country, wild, desolate and astonishing.

We also saw the hotel at Forsinard waiting for a use. We read (your report, 15 April) that the RSPB wants a field centre or
research laboratory at Forsinard.

The Scotsman has shown us what it will look like – monstrous – in its proposed setting in the peatland.

And there stands the hotel, near the railway station, a perfectly good alternative.

What hope have we when, if those charged with preserving this unique nature reserve totally forget what they are meant to be about?
