SCOTLAND’S new First Minister travelled to London yesterday for her first audience with the Queen.
In the run-up to the independence referendum, the Queen is reported to have told a well-wisher that Scots should “think very carefully about the future” when casting their ballot.
But Ms Sturgeon said: “I have no issue with anything the Queen did or did not say during the referendum”.
The new SNP leader described relations with the palace as being “very good, very strong, very positive” and that she had “no reason to believe” the Queen had favoured the No campaign.
