ON the same day both Alex Salmond and Nigel Farage dropped hints that they may be willing to do a deal with Labour concerning the 2015 General Election.
Salmond indicated that the SNP may change strategy by abandoning the long-running policy of SNP MPs refusing to vote on English-only policies at Westminster, which could help prop up a Labour government.
Farage, on the other hand, has said he would do a deal with somebody he wouldn’t normally do one with in order to help secure Britain’s exit from Europe.
