Smell the coffee

Following the furore over Starbucks and Amazon, and now that it has become evident that tax payments are voluntary (for some), I have decided to take greater control of my personal finances.

In future, I shall consider investing my state pension in a trust registered in Jersey, my private pension in a company whose ostensible purpose is to provide me with Sunday lunch but whose nominee is persons unknown in the Bahamas and any money left over I will pay, if I feel like it and as a gesture to HM Revenue and Customs, at corporation tax rate, unless, of course, I can demonstrate by some clever arithmetic that the cost of my Sunday lunches far exceeds my revenue.
