Good enough

As WE look into a new year and, yet again, hope to have less sadness and more hope could I make a suggestion in terms of the use of our language.

When superlatives become the norm; amazing, fantastic, awesome and the like, where can we go to express our best feelings?

History teaches us that the word “good’ really was the best. Could we redeem “good” as meaning the best? Perhaps a book called Great to Good needs to be written.
