Officers meet fiscal targets
POLICE are meeting targets to submit at least four out of five reports to the procurator fiscal within 28 days.
Officers from Lothian and Borders submitted a total of 25,991 reports to the fiscal between last April and February, with 86 per cent arriving before the four-week target.
Meanwhile, the force also managed to submit 91 per cent of its reports to the Children's Reporter within 14 days, beating the target of 80 per cent.
