However, with ten minutes remaining of their Labdrokes League Two encounter with Berwick Rangers, the game heading to a 0-0 draw, Cowdenbeath’s Jordan Garden committed a foul in the box with his neck.

The Berwick Rangers Twitter account summed up the surreal nature of the foul by calling it a “diving headbutt” on Michael McKenna who dusted himself down and netted the penalty to secure the three points for the Wee Gers.

The bizarre concession has led to the clip being shared thousands of times on social media.
