Meet Tank, the one and a half inch tortoise that can fit inside the head of a spoon and sit on the head of a lion.

Tank, a six month old Hermann’s tortoise, is currently residing at Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire. Despite measuring just one and a half inches, roughly the size of a key, he was recently pictured bravely sitting on top of a lion.

The tortoise, who was donated to the park by the previous head of reptiles Ross Hickles, has already become a key visitor attraction. He is expected to reach maximum growth between the ages of six and eight, but his minute size has already earned him a significant number of admirers.
