VOLKSWAGEN-mad Jo Gosling has transformed her garden office into a static campervan - complete with its own number plate.
The mother-of-two hopes her green creation which has painted on headlights and is decorated with VW wheels and wing mirrors will win her ‘Shed of the Year’ .
“People tend to think shed as a bit of a man cave but I’ve made mine really girly, I’m really proud of it”Jo Gosling
Jo, 42, has a fleet of seven campervans she rents out to brides and grooms to add a vintage twist to their wedding days.
As the business took off she ran out of space in her three-bedroom home so opened shop in the shed at the bottom of the garden.
Last August she decided to spruce up the outside of the wooden shed with a few friends and paint pots and filled it with dozens of trinkets, VW models and pictures.
She is now one of four finalists in the garden’ office’ category of Channel 4’s Shed of the Year competition, which is featured on George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces series.
Jo, from Towcester, said: “I absolutely love Amazing Spaces and I’m really excited that we have made it through.
“I don’t think we’re going to be the overall winner or anything, but I think we have a good shot in our category.

Jo, married to Clive, 52, a marketing consultant, added: “My husband has his own shed to work out of as well but his is literally just a desk and some files.
“I wanted to really give mine some personality. We managed to do the outside of it in one afternoon and then I just kept adding to it over the summer.”
Mum to Abigail, 12 and Charlie, nine, Jo’s idea for her business was born from her love of VW campervans and family camping holidays.
Jo, who named her own VW campervan Flossy, said: “I just love camping and we had a VW campervan that we used to take to festivals and on holidays.
“We bought our first VW campervan in 2011 and used to take it to festivals and family holidays when the children were younger.
“We renovated the inside of it to quite a high spec. As we were leaving the workshop where it had it makeover, a friend asked if we hired Flossy out for weddings.
“In the three-hour journey home Clive and I had developed our business plan for Pear Tree Weddings, which we named after our house.”
Channel 4 is due to film the office this week for a future episode of George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces series.
The Shed of the Year winners will be revealed on June 10.
