A FOOTBALL calendar issued by Partick Thistle has left the club red-faced after it featured photos of another team’s fans.

Jags supporters complained to the club after spotting the mistake in the calendar, which features 11 photos of Dunfermline fans. Only January features an image of a Partick Thistle crowd.

Partick Thistle say the error on the £5 calendar has affected a “small number” of souvenirs.

One Jags fan called the gaffe “ridiculous”, saying: “They could have at least made sure it was Jags fans on the calendar.

How hard would it have been to use pictures of Thistle supporters? It makes the calendar look silly and will put people off buying it.

“Who wants to look at pictures of another team’s fans on your wall for most of the year?”

A club spokesman said: “A small number from the initial print run of the 2014 calendar feature a mistake in the photography.

“Garthland Print, the producers of the calendar, will provide a refund to any customers who received an incorrect copy.

“Anyone wishing to claim should bring their copy of the calendar to the executive offices at Firhill Stadium.”
