A MAN has been arrested for allegedly stealing a bus and driving it erratically through a city centre.

The bus was taken without permission and driven off from Aberdeen Bus Station at around 11:40pm last night.

The vehicle was driven around parts of Aberdeen city, colliding with other vehicles and items of street furniture.

No-one was injured as a result of incident.

A 26-year-old man was subsequently arrested and reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

He is expected to appear in court on Monday.
