The 50ft high, 60ft wide duck set off on its voyage from West India Dock to London Bridge earlier today.

The duck was photographed sailing past some of London’s most iconic monuments, including the O2 Dome, the Tower of London and the Gherkin.

The stunt was part of a new initiative by Jackpotjoy.com, who have set up a scheme, called Facebook FUNdation, to enable Britons to execute similar pranks in the wake of research that suggests people from the UK are not having enough fun.
