eBay seller who accidentally posted nude photo of herself goes viral
The original listing on the left went viral; right, the new listing
AN eBay seller who inadvertantly exposed herself after listing a dress on the auction site got more than she bargained for when her unwanted outfit went viral.
Aimi Jones, 21, had created a listing for a yellow skater dress and photographed it hanging on her wardrobe door.
However, when Miss Jones, from Oxfordshire, published the picture alongside the eBay post, she realised that she had also photographed her reflection on a nearby mirror wearing only a bra.
Despite her attempts to remove the listing, it quickly went viral as it was shared with a #ebayyellowskaterdress hashtag, and has inspired a number of spoof memes.
Bids for the dress had reached upwards of £150,000.
Miss Jones has now taken down the original listing, and has replaced the post with a more demure picture.
She has since spoken to The Sun about the incident, saying: “It’s so embarrassing. It is such a dizzy, stupid thing to do and now the whole world’s seen me in the nude.”
