OAPs enjoy a Wii bit of tennis

ELDERLY residents at a city care home have donned their tennis whites ahead of Wimbledon.

The group of pensioners played on a Nintendo Wii to help them stay active and whet the appetite for the upcoming tournament.

Councillor Norman Work, vice-convener of health and social care in the city, said: "I am delighted that we are putting Wiis into all our care homes as they are great fun and a great way of exercising."
