Numbers up at Loretto

Loretto Senior School, in East Lothian, puts the increase in demand for places largely down to the popularity of its golf academy and expressive arts.
Headmaster Peter Hogan, who joined Loretto a year ago, said: "In uncertain economic times it is reassuring that Loretto remains a popular school."
