Nine arrested after drugs raid

Nine men have been arrested after drugs with an estimated street value of £1,700 were seized by police.

Officers entered eight properties at about 7:15am yesterday on the Wyndford estate, in the Maryhill area of Glasgow, seizing heroin and cocaine.

Strathclyde Police said the crackdown was part of the five-month campaign Operation Myriad.

The men are aged 17, 18, 32, 39 and 61, with two aged 35 and another two aged 38.
