NHS says Sick Kids 'integral'
THE success of the new Royal Edinburgh Hospital for Sick Children is "integral" to NHS Lothian's ambitions to be one of the best health organisations in the world, bosses have said.
Speaking about the New Pyjamas campaign to raise cash for the new facility at Little France, due to be open by 2012, health board chief executive James Barbour outlined NHS Lothian's commitment to the project.
He said the organisation expected to be kept abreast of all fundraising activities.
