NHS paper cut to save cash
A DRIVE by health chiefs to reduce the amount of paper they use is to be rolled out across Lothian.
Already in West Lothian sickness absence forms and time sheets are taken care of electronically, and NHS Lothian hopes introducing the system Lothian-wide will save a significant amount of money and boost the health board's green credentials.
Project manager Jan Vettraino said: "This will end duplication of effort in administration and cut the cost of information handling."
