New name but same old Woolies planned
FORMER Woolworths bosses are reportedly planning to relaunch the chain under a different name.
Senior former staff are planning to open 50 shops from May, starting in London. The 8.8 million bid will follow the Woolworths format but cannot use the name because of trademark laws.
