New nursing chief aims to meet the staff
THE health board's new nurse director has vowed to speak to as many staff as possible to improve the service.
Newly-appointed Melanie Hornett, said she would be exploring various issues throughout the area.
She said: "Over the next few months I hope to be able to visit as many different parts of NHS Lothian as I can.
"I am keen to meet staff and hear directly about their successes and the challenges they face on a day-to-day basis."
