New man for key health job
THE chief executive of the health board has welcomed the filling of a key position in West Lothian.
James Barbour said that the appointment of Jim Forrest, who has enjoyed an "extensive" career in the NHS, to the role of joint director of the area's community health and care partnership would be of benefit to people in the region.
He said: "I very much look forward to working with Jim to ensure that the West Lothian CHCP demonstrates real benefit for the local population through even closer working of healthcare and local authority staff."
