Hibs manager Neil Lennon has been spotted on the set of the new series of Outlander.
However the former Celtic boss is not expected to appear in a cameo role in the fantasy TV series but was a curious onlooker as the filming was taking
place outside his home in Glasgow’s west end.
Lennon spoke to film crew and looked at the vintage cars on display on the set which is understood to be doubling up as Boston in the 1940s.
Writer Mark Millar, creator of Kick Ass, who also lives nearby said: “It’s great. I think we should keep the street this way.
“It’s the best the parking has been in about 20 years.”
Hollywood star Caitriona Balfe was also spotted filming scenes for the new series.
Fans watched as Caitriona, 36, and Tobias Menzies, 42, were filmed outside on a road where vintage street signs had been put up, mothers were pushing old fashioned prams and a man was riding a vintage bike.
One of Caitriona’s sequences featured the actress taking logs out of the boot of a grey 1949 Packard Coupe.
A Cadillac, Pontiac and Chevrolet were also on set, which were driven around the streets as shooting took place.
At one point a Chrysler broke down and had to be pushed down a hill by the film crew as it wouldn’t start.
