POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a man was spotted naked in a public park with an American flag.

The man was seen at around 1.15pm, Sunday 14 July in the middle of Bantaskine Estate near Falkirk.

Officers said he was completely naked and wearing a grey coloured mask, while straddling a large American flag.

A second man was taking pictures using “an expensive looking” camera, police said.

The pair were spotted by a dog walker and his eight-year-old daughter.

Detective Sergeant Steven Hoggan said: “The unpleasant actions of the naked male caused alarm, particularly as the man walking his dog was with his young daughter.

“This park is popular with dog walkers and so other people may have witnessed this, or may have noticed suspicious behaviour.”

Officers are asking anyone with information to get in touch on the non-emergency number 101.
