Murder hunt police given six more days to quiz two men
Police in Northern Ireland have been given a further six days to question two men over the murder of Constable Ronan Kerr.
One of the men, aged 26, was arrested in Renton, West Dunbartonshire, last week. Another man, aged 40, was held a day later in the province.
Detectives are also questioning a 33-year-old man in connection with the booby-trap bomb that killed the 25-year-old Catholic officer in Omagh on 2 April.
Dissident republicans were blamed for the device that exploded under the policeman's car in the County Tyrone town.
The same groups are believed to be behind a 500lb van bomb discovered near Newry, County Down, last Thursday.
