2 Royal Botanic Gardens, Inverleith Beautiful when the sun is shining and my four-year-old can't get enough of the squirrels.
3 Leith Waterworld, Easter Road The kids love it and always sleep well after all that splashing around.
4 The Ceramic Experience, Ocean Terminal A great place to let them show off their creative talents.
5 National Museum of Childhood, Royal Mile You can't go wrong with a museum full of toys.
