MSP's motion on unfair fares
COMMUTERS in South Queensferry are getting a fairer deal than their counterparts north of the river, according to MSP Helen Eadie.
The Dunfermline East Labour MSP has lodged a motion in the Scottish Parliament about First ScotRail's annual railway season ticket charging policy, and wants an investigation.
The motion states: "The parliament deplores the incredible differential of 304 for an annual season ticket, representing the additional cost to rail passengers travelling from North Queensferry station to South Gyle station."
