MP row over pay-per-view
AN MP was last night urged to come clean about pay-per-view movies claimed for in hotels.
Jeffrey Donaldson, a DUP MP, paid back 555 to the Commons authorities but SDLP Assembly member John Dallat demanded greater transparency.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Mr Donaldson submitted 68 film receipts for 2004-5 but denied any wrongdoing.
Mr Dallat said: "He has a duty to tell us exactly what videos he has been watching in hotels when he was actually conducting these public duties."
Mr Donaldson's lawyer said: "It would have been common practice to have used pay TV."
