Moving Megrahi
DOES anyone really believe (Letters, 4 December) the most secure way to transfer Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi out of the country was to have a television helicopter flying over Greenock all morning, then following a convoy of police motorcycles, cars and an armoured prison van from Gateside prison to Abbotsinch airport with close-up shots any time they were wanted?
A much more secure method would have been a low-key departure in an inconspicuous vehicle, from Prestwick.
