National youth charity chief picks up inaugural PR award

Louise Macdonald, chief executive officer of the national youth information and citizenship charity for young people, Young Scot, has picked up the inaugural award for Communicator of the Year at 2011 CIPR PRide Awards.

The awards celebrate the best PR campaigns and individuals from the profession across Scotland.

The Communicator of the Year is a new category for 2011 where individuals were judged on their experience in the profession, an endorsement from their employer, and their individual contribution to the organisation and value as a leader and key communicator.
