Food news: Celebrate harvest with game pie

Cafe St Honoré, in North West Thistle Street Lane, has teamed up with Capital brewers Innis & Gunn to celebrate the harvest.

Scottish Chef of the Year 2011 Neil Forbes has matched four Innis & Gunn oak-aged beers to a £40 four-course menu including a re-launched Melville’s fruit beer and limited edition Spiced Rum. Focusing on local, seasonal produce, the highlight of the menu will be a rich game pie.

• Locanda De Gusti, in East London Street, has designed a special menu to celebrate Chocolate Week, from October 8-13.

Branded as Chocolate @ Locanda, a three-course meal will cost £23.50 per head, and has been specially created by award-winning head chef Rosario Sartor.
