Bank grant boosts charity for disabled

AN EDINBURGH charity which supports parents of children with disabilities and long-term health conditions is celebrating a funding boost.

Kindred Advocacy hopes the £7000 grant it has received from Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland will allow it to expand the services that it offers to young people.

The charity operates its outreach services in Edinburgh and Dunfermline, giving information, advice and support to families throughout the Capital, the Lothians and Fife.

The grant from the Foundation will be used to help sustain its young people’s project for the coming year.
