Mobile phone deflects bullet
A MAN who put his mobile phone in his breast pocket escaped serious injury after it deflected a stray bullet, it emerged yesterday.
RJ Richard, 68, was mowing the lawn on his five-acre property in Louisiana when the .45-calibre bullet, fired from nearby woods, hit his phone. He thought it was a rock kicked up by his tractor.
