Miss West Lothian bids to be Britain's Next Top Model
MISS West Lothian Ashley Brown is on the road to becoming Britain's Next Top Model after making it through to the final 20 contestants on the popular TV show.
The mother-of-two from Eliburn in Livingston said making the show's Boot Camp was the "best experience of her life" and she really wanted to win to carve out a career in modelling.
"I've really enjoyed myself so far, although I found the cameras a bit difficult," said the 20-year-old.
"It was very competitive and there were a lot of arguments between the girls, but they were sorted out very quick. I got into a couple myself but we've all kept in touch.
"I thought my whole life was going to be on TV like a reality show, but it turned out to be amazing.
"I've really gained confidence from it because I didn't really have any before.
"Lisa Snowdon (the show's presenter] said I was the biggest character there and had everyone in stitches so I must have made a good impression."
Ashley has a daughter Alysha, three, and an eight-month-old son Jay.
The show will start on the Living TV channel on April 20 and will last for 12 weeks.
