Minnie proves she's no minor talent on stage
HOLLYWOOD star Minnie Driver returned to the Capital on Saturday night almost a year after presenting a gong at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Leith.
This time, however, it was the turn of the 34-year-old actress who shot to fame in films such as Circle of Friends and Good Will Hunting to do the serenading. Supporting Neil and Tim Finn, the songwriting brothers behind hit band Crowded House, Driver treated a packed Usher Hall to a selection of numbers from her new self-penned debut album, Everything I’ve Got in My Pocket. Driver is no stranger to singing, having first embarked on a musical career at the age of 15 when she began writing songs.
