Habaneros Mexican Street Food, situated in the centre of the town, is giving away a free pair of knickers with every burrito that is ordered ahead of the ‘Sex Bomb’ singer’s concert, at the Falkirk Stadium on Saturday night.

Owner Malcolm Binnie, who opened the takeaway diner last weekend at the corner of the Kirk Wynd on Manor Street, said that if music lovers show staff their ticket while ordering, they will get a complimentary pair of pants - in whatever size or style they desire - but added “whatever they do with them is up to them.”

Mr Binnie said: “We thought it would be a good idea to mark Sir Tom Jones coming to the town.

“We have spent quite a lot of money on this.

“We have knickers in all sizes and styles - we’ve got thongs, Bridget Jones Pants, everything really.

“We offer a range of Mexican Street food but everyone buying a burrito or a Quesadilla that is going to the concert will get a free pair of knickers.”

Over 10,000 tickets have already been sold for the Rock the Stadium concert, and with only a handful left for the main stand, the organisers have released more tickets for the north and south stands.

Two months into his 2015 US and European tour, Sir Tom said his show would appeal to music lovers of all ages.
