Member of the Ronettes dies

ESTELLE Bennett, a member of the 1960s singing group the Ronettes, has died aged 67.

Police found Bennett dead in her apartment in Englewood, New Jersey, after relatives were unable to contact her. The cause and time of death have yet to be determined.

The Ronettes – sisters Veronica and Estelle Bennett and their cousin Nedra Talley – signed with Philles Records in 1963.
