Medics' phone ban ends
A TOTAL ban on NHS Lothian staff using their mobile phones in hospitals has been lifted.
Health bosses decided to revise the ruling given the importance of instant communication between workers to improve efficiency of care. There are still strict guidelines on when and where phones can be used.
