Mass-grave bodies flown to Kurdistan
IRAQI officials flew the remains of 150 Kurds found in a mass grave home to Kurdistan yesterday, after a ceremony that paid tribute to victims of repression under Saddam Hussein.
The grave – containing the remains of men, women and children identified as Kurds by documents on some of the bodies – was found by a farmer near the southern city of Najaf three months ago.
